We spent this July 18 birthday weekend in Kennebunkport, ME at a wonderful pet-friendly inn called The Captain Jefferds Inn. (We liked it so much, we would go even if it weren't pet friendly.) But, we have a problem cat...

The Pumkin needs kitty Prozac... Our little sweetheart is good with us - most of the time - but he has a hard time with change, noise, other people, etc. He sometimes hisses, scratches, spits and growls (especially at dogs who are lots bigger than he is). So, we called in a Kitty Behaviorist who agreed with our suspicion that he was a Kitty Prozac candidate. Getting it down the hatch can be a problem. First you grab the cute little Pumkin jaw and tilt it up...

Toss it to the back of his little throat... "YUK," said The Pumkin, but he did get it down the hatch.

Victory! Now we celebrate the taming of the kitty!

Even the President was on hand to thank us for making our country a safer place. We won't tolerate no Terrorist Kitties!
