It's May 15 and Tuffy Town is shaping up. The buildings are not in place yet; spackle was applied over sections of painted grey insulation to repair small depressions and uneven areas. This will be sanded and repainted. The unfinished building (with pink insulation floor for now) has been cut in and some rock walls have been applied. Irene wants to avoid the flat look of some layouts so she is varying the elevation. Some structures will be partially embedded.
Another view. The river area has a weird shape...
So the landscape was trimmed to create a more graceful river shape. The rounded section in front on your left will likely be trimmed as well. The bridge to the left of the lake is cut to easily drop into place. This layout is going to be modular if it kills us!
